Rumney Folk Club Christmas Bash

A very big thankyou to everybody who came along to our annual christmas bash. It was a full house and we had more performing artistes than ever. It was a late, but fab night.
Also the monies raised by the folk club for St Augustine's Church Restoration Fund during 2009 is £4480

Photos, Christmas and Jazzy Stuff...

Hey everyone, finally managed to get around to putting some photos up. The club held its annual carols concert in St. Augustine's church and it was certainly a heart-warming event; seeing the 11th Century church lit up by candle-light, before having mince pies and cheese mushed into the carpet!

This Friday is the clubs Christmas club evening, we know plenty of people wanting to attend and play so get there early! Music will start at 8, (it will) with doors open at 7pm and £3.50 entry. Bring a hat and take a joyous yet relaxing break from the shopping!

Off-topic: Jammy Custard filmed Cardiff Ska/Fusion band "Funhouse" recently for their new album launch with great success and recommend them highly! Very much a live band (up to an 11-piece band!), so check out their Myspace to see where they're playing next. Check the video below!
